That protruding rim is a clever touch—I tied some string around it and made a tight paper lid for steaming, and it held up perfectly. The vented base also let the pudding cook evenly without any soggy spots. This basin's a proper workhorse for the kitchen.

The vented base made a noticeable difference—no soggy spots on the bottom of my steamed pudding, and it lifted out cleanly. The rim held a foil lid tight the whole time, which made the whole process feel foolproof.

The protruding rim is such a clever touch, it makes tying the string for a parchment lid effortless. My steamed puddings come out perfectly every time, and the basin’s weight feels solid and dependable in my hands.
